David L. Overton is a Regional Director in Denver. David joined Halbert Hargrove in 1999 and has 14 years of financial and management consulting experience. He is the President of QWON Investment Consultants, Inc.
After beginning his financial career as a Marketing Consultant for Founder's Mutual Funds in 1990, he became the Executive Vice President responsible for the Denver office of Owen Joseph Asset Management. In 1997, David established his own asset management company. His prior background includes 14 years of sales and marketing experience in the high tech industry with Xerox, ROLM Corporation and IBM.
David has specialized in providing investment advisory services for pension and profit sharing plans as well as charitable foundations. He is a Registered Investment Advisor, Registered Representative and General Securities Principal.
David received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Central Missouri State University in 1972. He is the regional representative for the Xerox-X Corporation and is a member of the Colorado Golden Buffalo Scholarship Foundation.
David was awarded the ACCREDITED INVESTMENT FIDUCIARY™ designation by the University of Pittsburgh-affiliated Center for Fiduciary Studies.
