A Regional Director with Halbert Hargrove’s San Diego office since 1992, Gary focuses on developing wealth maximization programs for individuals and families.
Over the years, he’s served as a trusted advisor to families across generations. A big highlight of his work, he says, is the relationships he’s built with clients and his HH associates.
Gary has also been instrumental in designing and implementing participant training programs and retirement planning seminars, as well as addressing 404-C compliance issues, for both Fortune 500 and local companies throughout Southern California.
Gary’s background prior to 1992 includes serving as: Regional Vice President of MetroBank, San Diego; Regional Vice President of United Bank of Arizona, Phoenix; Vice President of Union Bank, Los Angeles; and Captain/Reconnaissance Officer, United States Marine Corps.
He graduated from Youngstown State University in 1971, and has been awarded the ACCREDITED INVESTMENT FIDUCIARY™ designation by the University of Pittsburgh-affiliated Center for Fiduciary Studies.
Dad to daughter Haley and son Matt, Gary enjoys spending time with family and friends when away from work. A model railroad enthusiast for decades, he realized his dream of sharing that passion in 2014. Gary created the Old Town Model Railroad Depot, the largest O Scale exhibit open to the public in the Western U.S.
