Why I Love My Job

Simply put, I love helping people. It’s rewarding to help my clients gain confidence in their financial future. I can almost always see a physical change and response when they feel like things are going to be okay.

Julia K. Pham Family

Julia joined our Long Beach team as a Wealth Advisor in 2015. Her role includes encouraging HH clients to explore and fine-tune their aspirations—and working with them to create a roadmap to attain the goals that matter to them. “To me, there’s no greater feeling than helping my clients achieve something they’ve always wanted and have spent their lives working towards.”

What Julia says she particularly enjoys about working at HH is “being a part of a team and culture of people who truly care about doing what is best for our clients. It is also great to be part of a company that is innovative: HH is committed to change to stay ahead of the industry in terms of technology and the services we can provide.”

Julia has worked in financial services since 2007. Before HH, she was an Associate Relationship Manager with First Foundation Advisors, where she worked with more than 150 clients, advising them on a wide range of wealth management and financial planning concerns. Before that, she was a Portfolio Analyst in asset-based lending for Wells Fargo Capital Finance. In this role, she assisted in the management of a $1.2 billion loan portfolio, working with corporate firms based both domestically and internationally.

Julia earned a Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude in Economics and Sociology, and an MBA, both from the University of California at Irvine. She was awarded the ACCREDITED INVESTMENT FIDUCIARY™ designation by the University of Pittsburgh-affiliated Center for Fiduciary Studies and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. She is also a CERTIFIED DIVORCE FINANCIAL ANALYST® professional.

Julia’s insights into financial planning and investing have been featured in prominent publications including VoxU.S. News & World ReportThe Motley Fool and Real Simple. She also enjoys writing about personal finance with a focus on women’s issues—and offering solutions to those relatively new to managing their money. Her articles have been published in MarketWatch and Kiplinger.

Julia is married to Landon, who she met while they were working together as analysts. They live in Laguna Niguel, CA, and have two children whose boundless energy keeps them on the move. In her free time, Julia enjoys going to the beach, reading, doing Pilates, and spending time with family.

Fun Fact

When I’m not working I enjoy traveling. So far my top destinations are Japan and Italy for the food and culture. I even got to snap a photo with David Beckham in Tokyo!
