Senior Wealth Advisor

A Senior Wealth Advisor establishes and fosters relationships with clients, with an objective to assist them in all facets of their financial lives. Working with a team consisting of a Wealth Advisor and Client Service Manager, the Senior Wealth Advisor builds and implements a Roadmap- a disciplined, ongoing process that ensures that all the complexities inherent to their client’s wealth are addressed. Associate Wealth Advisor

Overview

Associate Wealth Advisor partners with Regional Directors, Wealth Advisors and Client Service Managers in the day-to-day requirements of client accounts, ensuring that their portfolio management is continuously implemented- and adheres to their financial roadmap. The Wealth Advisor’s overriding objective is protecting client’s wealth, helping them secure their financial goals, and hearing from them that they are comfortable and pleased with the entire process.

Client Service

  • Provides “Wow Service” to result in direct referrals
  • Exudes confidence to Clients/Prospects/Centers of Influence (COIs)
  • Prepares for and conducts client meetings with clear, precise deliverables – via web meetings or in-person
  • Takes initiative with client needs and manages all expectations/concerns/issues with support from the team
  • Prepares all financial planning deliverables by focusing on the minute details
  • Initiates and completes all wealth advisory items with support from the team
  • Work with MoneyGuidePro, Tamarac Advisor View and Tamarac CRM (Microsoft Dynamics CRM).
  • Present 401(k) plan participant group education sessions

·        Business Development

  • Builds and maintains a networking group/niche
  • Develops and keeps an ongoing relationship with new and relevant COIs
  • Maintains a social presence in the community by volunteering and/or joining a charitable organization
  • Articulates Halbert Hargrove’s value proposition for Investment Management and Wealth Advisory Services

Team

  • Candidate must be a team player—who is a cooperative member of the team and a team builder.
  • Keeps team on track with firm’s strategic initiatives
  • Creates clear guidelines to team of all timelines and workload

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • CFP (Exception: If candidate currently holds a CFA, but is willing to pursue a CFP)
  • MBA preferred

Associate Client Service Manager

Custodians

  • Complete all new account paperwork for clients and prospects as well as any account maintenance requests for the team
  • Act as the team’s primary liaison with our multiple custodians
  • Be knowledgeable and proactive on all pending items/service items
  • Maintain the accuracy of client information with custodians

Client Service

  • Work on a client service team which includes any combination of Regional Director, Wealth Advisor, Associate Wealth Advisor, and Client Service Manager
  • Provide service to clients and prospects
    • Answer client calls and give them a clear, complete answer during the call if possible—minimize call backs to clients
    • Send a response via email/phone as soon as you possibly can, even if it is just to say you are researching and will get back to them
    • Always acknowledge/confirm receipt that you received any type of message from clients
  • Use the CRM system to track all tasks, keep track of all client meetings, and keep key notes about client relationships
  • Manage and schedule all client meetings and prepare appropriate materials and complete any follow up tasks assigned to them

Team

  • Attend weekly team meetings and keep team agenda/goals/current prospect list up to date
  • Keep team informed of all timelines and workload
  • Provide support and respond to team requests in a timely and accurate manner, follow up to ensure completion
  • Manage the team calendar to ensure all client and COI meetings are scheduled
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and initiatives for the firm

Miscellaneous

  • Answer the firm’s phones during allotted scheduled time per Associate Client Service Manager schedule
  • Perform office administrative tasks that could include, but is not limited to sorting mail, cleaning up common areas, sending faxes, mailing packages for the firm, office maintenance requests, etc.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
