Shane W. Cummings Family

Shane is based in Halbert Hargrove’s Denver office and holds multiple roles with Halbert Hargrove.  As Director of Technology/Cybersecurity, Shane’s overriding objective is to enable Halbert Hargrove associates to work efficiently and effectively, while safeguarding client data.  As Wealth Advisor, he works with clients in helping them determine goals and identify financial risks, creating an allocation strategy for their investments

Shane oversees the technology infrastructure of the firm, managing HH’s financial data systems to keep them running smoothly and securely. He interfaces with custodians and technology providers to acquire and implement best-of-breed technology and processes.

Shane says he relishes being challenged with new projects and issues from day to day: “The job is never static. It gives me lots of opportunities to hone new skills and find new solutions for our clients.”

Previously, Shane was a mortgage associate at Argent Mortgage Company. His responsibilities there included setting up new loan accounts, processing property appraisals, researching tax and title information, and providing support to account managers.

Shane received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from UC San Diego in 2003 and his MBA from Chapman University in 2007. He earned the ACCREDITED INVESTMENT FIDUCIARY™ designation from the University of Pittsburgh-affiliated Center for Fiduciary Studies and he is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

At the top of his list of favorite pursuits is spending time with his wife and their young daughters. They enjoy traveling to Europe to spend time with family, visiting interesting cities, and exploring historically and culturally rich places.
